NYFW, or New York Fashion Week, is a semi-annual series of events that showcases future collections of various fashion brands that haven't been released to the public eye yet. Attending NYFW shows is recognized as a prestigious honor in the blogging community, as guests must receive an exclusive invitation by the brands themselves in order to attend. During this prime time, my Instagram newsfeed blew up with countless photos of established fashion bloggers posing in the streets of New York and professionally captured runway shots. Throughout my seven days in New York City (see previous blog post here), I was given the special opportunity to attend Mimi Prober's runway show and wanted to personally share my first time experience attending New York Fashion Week with you guys.

Working Out With Albion Fit

One of the looks that I will never get tired of adding to my wardrobe is a cute workout outfit. Whenever I am walking around a clothing store, my eyes automatically become drawn towards the workout gear section. There’s just something about owning flattering fitness gear that makes me feel and look good whenever I’m about to work out. With Albion Fit, I feel so much more confident knowing that I am wearing quality workout gear that is both fashionable and functional.

Although I am spending my entire Valentine's Day working in NYC, I couldn't be happier to be surrounded by good company who know how to balance both work and play. My idea of an enjoyable Valentine's Day includes celebrating the concept of love with the people that you love, whether it be your partner, family members, friends, pet(s), and more. If I wasn't in NYC on a business trip, this would be the very exact outfit I would rock if I were to spend this special day with my girlfriends or significant others.

Being Fearless

You’ve probably noticed by now that I don’t publish as frequently as I used to on Missmisschelle. Although I had spent many hours per day writing draft after draft, these posts never ended up being released. So, there are at least five lengthy pieces that nobody will ever get the chance to read by Missmisschelle. This is due to a recent developed blogger's fear of mine - the fear that my posts weren't good or interesting enough to read. Trying to run away from both disapproval and negativity, I ended up pulling myself away from the publishing any new blog content.

My Winter Must-Haves

After experiencing Seattle’s beyond freezing weather back in December 2016, I’m curious to see just how much colder NYC will feel. For those of you who haven’t seen my updated Instagram bio, I recently booked my NYC ticket from February 8-15 to attend New York Fashion Week! Again, I will be traveling with my hard-working travel buddies Sharon and Jillian. And of course, I will be paying a visit to my good friend Fiona, a NYC-based fashion blogger who frequently inspires me to capture the most creative of Instagram shots. But in order to prepare for this incoming NYC trip, I have prepare myself for the cold weather ahead! Therefore, I’ve gone ahead and listed my favorite retail stores to purchase a few winterwear must-haves for 2017 and hope that this post helps you find the layers you need this season!
