Even when New Year's Eve is supposed to be a day of relaxing, eating, and partying, I'm here on my desktop typing away because I wanted to take the time to reflect upon everything that has happened within the last 366 days (leap year). 2016 has been quite an emotional roller coaster. After all, there was just so much I have learned and accomplished, whilst facing many challenges along the way. Before the year comes to a close, I wanted to sum up a few honest thoughts on what I've learned as a 24-year old woman.
Hey everybody! I truly apologize for the random, unannounced hiatus that I took from my blog for about a month, but it was due to personal reasons. Don't worry, I didn't use this break to be a couch potato and Netflix (okay, maybe just 30% of the time, hah). Honestly, I used this extra time to take a breather from my stressful schedule, reanalyze the direction of my blog and Instagram, heal my wrist injury, and more. However, if you want to know what I'm up to on a daily basis, feel free to follow me on my Instagram, Snapchat (missmisschelle) and Instastories because I post daily on those social media apps! Despite how busy everybody's schedule is, I believe that is it truly necessary to take a break every now and then or else you'll end up burning out - like me. As much as I want to overwork myself and push out content past normal working hours and on weekends, I have to also remind myself that I'm human. With the proper amount of rest, we can be a whole lot more productive with our time with a focused mind versus working on low energy and high levels of caffeine.
Now that I'm back, I am SO excited to address future topics that I've always wanted to write about and what projects will come my way in 2017! Just in time for the holidays, I've collaborated with the positive, bubbly, and inspirational blogger babe Jillian from @comfycitychic to bring you all a fun blog post catered around "5 Holiday Gifts For Her".
