Just last Saturday, AJ & I hosted our fifth social media event at Curry Up Now in San Francisco. This time around, we invited approximately 30 lifestyle bloggers, foodies, Yelp Elites, and food photographers to our exclusive food tasting event. If you haven't heard of Curry Up Now, it is byfar the most flavorful Indian street food I have ever tasted with the most colorful of interiors.

I've always imagined throwing the birthday party of my dreams one year and I'm safe to say that this dream of mine came true on June 25th, 2016 at 3:00PM at Ketsourine Macarons. Thanks to Ketsourine Macarons located in Daly City, I was able to reserve their shop for a good three hours to host my private birthday event. From start to finish, I had such a great time setting up pastel-themed party decorations, goodie bags, and party food while reuniting old friends that I haven't seen in months or years. Read MoreWhen I was invited to Chantal Guillon's Macaron Decorating Workshop, I was trying to imagine the behind-the-scenes of how macarons were made from start to finish. Honestly, I don't know the first thing about baking macarons, but I have definitely heard that they are one of the hardest desserts to make from scratch because you have to get the size and texture of the macaron shells just right. But once perfected, you are left with one of the most beautifully decorated and fluffiest tasting desserts that everybody is raving about these days.

It was definitely a farther drive for all of us South Bay residents, but seeing both new and old faces over delicious and mouthwatering desserts and various flavors of milk tea was an opportunity not worth missing! Not to mention, we also held several fun giveaways in which the winners had a chance to win board games and Ice Monster merchandise! This event was definitely one for the books – a guest even joked with me that it felt like one of those rainy days back in elementary school where you would stay in and play board games with your friends during recess, haha.
